Nominations for YMCA Peace Week are now open!
Do you know a peacemaker in your community? Each year, the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario honours local peacemakers with a YMCA Peace Medal at several community events across the region. While we will be unable to host an in-person event this year, we are still excited to recognize inspiring community members across our association!
Peace Week Medal Nominations Now Open Until September 30!
YMCA Peace Week (November 14 to 21) is a chance to recognize and celebrate inspiring people who are doing good in our communities:
Chatham-Kent
Goderich-Huron
London-Middlesex
Petrolia
Sarnia-Lambton
St. Thomas-Elgin
Strathroy-Caradoc
Windsor-Essex
Woodstock (Oxford)
Recipients will receive a YMCA Peace Medal and certificate, and have a chance to tell their story and bring awareness to their work or cause in individual profiles that will be shared virtually. Please submit your nomination through the form below before September 30, 2020.
