Amazing camp experiences for all start at the Y. Through to July 15th our YMCA branches across Southwestern Ontario are asking the community to support our annual Fill the Bus CAMPaign which raises funds to ensure every child can attend camp, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Going to camp gives a child or teen the opportunity to build resilience, connect with nature, and make life-long friendships. Many campers discover their leadership potential through camp. Children and youth that attend overnight camp report increased environmental awareness, attitudes to physical activity, emotional intelligence, personal development, and self-confidence.
The Y offers exceptional day and overnight camp experiences to children and youth regardless of the barriers they might face. Through donations, the Y can ensure that camping is the same enriching experience for future generations. Over the next 3 years, our fundraising goal to ensure all kids can go to camp is $1.5 million.

Locations: All Health, Fitness and Aquatics Branches in Southwestern Ontario
Details: Each branch has a large display bus about the CAMPaign! Every $150 raised provides a week-long day camp experience for a child in need in local communities. Donors may visit their local branch to give, or email donations@swo.ymca.ca for more details on how to support the Y and Fill the Bus with an online gift.
