It was a snowy morning of celebration on January 8 as the Bierbaum family, friends, and the YMCA team gathered in the Bierbaum Family Community Kitchen. This newly dedicated space at the StarTech.com YMCA honours a remarkable journey that began in 1952 when Ewald Bierbaum arrived in Canada, from Germany, with just his tools and $20 to his name.

YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is thrilled to announce the relocation of its Windsor Newcomer, Youth, and Employment Services office to the University of Windsor's downtown campus at 300 Ouellette Avenue. This strategic move represents a significant step in our ongoing partnership with the University, aimed at fostering future collaborative opportunities to benefit the community.

Hi, I’m Euna! I’ve been a Y member since 2019, and I’m a mom to three kids. My kids have always loved the programs here, and one day, while they were in their activities, I saw my neighbour Christina. We sat together, chatted, and caught up - it was such a nice surprise!
