At YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, we believe everyone deserves a chance to shine and we are committed to igniting the spark that exists in each of us. This is especially true of our community’s children and youth, and the focus of our camps. But not everyone can afford camp. That’s why the Y offers a financial assistance program so that everyone can experience the fun and friendship of camp, regardless of financial circumstances.
For years, the Y has run their annual Fill the Bus CAMPaign to raise needed funds to help send kids to camp. For every $200 raised or donated, another child can go to camp.
During this year's Fill the Bus CAMPaign, presented by Mainstreet Credit Union, we are hosting two Push the Bus events.
Teams of 3-6 will compete to see who can push a school bus along a 100m track the fastest. Get a team of friends or co-workers together - raise or donate to send a kid to camp and have fun! Entry fee is a $200 donation per team.
