EarlyON Child and Family Centres
EarlyON Child and Family Centres are intended to support children, parents and caregivers in learning, growing and connecting – together. All programs and services are designed and delivered to meet the unique needs of parents, caregivers and young children to support their learning, development and well-being. EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide the following core services but are not limited to:
- Support Early Learning and Development through programs and services that build responsive adult-child relationships, encourage children’s exploration, and promote play and inquiry.
- Engaging Parents and Caregivers by developing programs that cultivate authentic, caring relationships and connections that create a sense of belonging.
- Making Connections for Families by look for opportunities to facilitate stronger relationships within their local community and assist parents and caregivers in accessing services and supports that respond to a family’s unique needs.

EarlyON Child and Family Centre programs and services are offered in many permanent centres across the city, however the YMCASWO is the lead agency for Family Centre Carling-Thames in London and St. Thomas-Elgin zone. There are also mobile locations, reaching families who do not attend the permanent centre-based sites. All delivery locations are welcoming and inclusive environments where all children and families have access to high-quality programs and services which influence positive child, family and community experiences and outcomes.
