YMCA of Southwestern Ontario Honours Three Peacemakers with YMCA Peace Medals

Susan and her award

During the 2024 YMCA Peace Week, YMCA of Southwestern Ontario joined YMCAs across Canada honouring individuals and groups who are leading the way in creating positive change.

We are proud to present the YMCA Peace Medal to the following recipients:

Susan Doughty: Over the past decade at Lambton College, Susan has made a significant impact by fostering community connections and supporting international students, particularly women. She founded the International Women’s Club to empower female students through cultural exchange, professional development, and sustainability initiatives.
