The WE Value Partnership is preparing to start a new chapter in April after over a 6-year journey piloting innovative client, community, and settlement agency tools. The team is celebrating their collective achievements and future innovations at their upcoming Community Data Sharing & Consultation events, and Final Forum as well as with project completion reports and technology updates.

The challenges are a combination of savvy and smarts – no goofy shorts required. On Saturday, May 25, teams compete to complete the challenges in the fastest time. Everyone gathers together at the start to register before heading out to different locations, and only after they have completed the first challenge are they given the location of the next one.

After carefully selecting youth throughout our regions in 2023, our Y reintroduced the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) in January of 2024. The youth selected are representatives from current staff teams, volunteers, program participants, and community members.

Congratulations to the YMAP/SWIS teams and Sarnia youth for winning the CANstruction Junior Outstanding Structure Award and the Rookie Team of the Year Award!

While it's true that our program hasn't received the funding for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, we want to take a moment to express our profound gratitude. To our cherished clients, dedicated community partners, and the incredible YMCA staff/team who pour their hearts into everything they do - your unwavering support is the backbone of our mission.

On Thursday, April 25th, 2024, we’re all going to get a little ‘squirrely’ at this fun-filled event that gets your children up and moving, while helping those in need who live right here in our community! Move-a-Thon raises critical funds to ensure everyone has access to YMCA programs and services.
