Wednesday, May 25, 2022 Newcomers to Canada volunteer to help the environment in Windsor-Essex.  

Exciting news about an upcoming event! WHEN: Thursday, April 28, 2022 

March 28 was a historic day for child care in Ontario! An was announcement made as a result of the Ontario government’s agreement with the Government of Canada that will help provide families access to affordable child care. The YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is very pleased about this announcement and that more families will have greater access to affordable, quality registered child care.

On March 15th and 16th, the YMAP teams from Windsor, London, and Sarnia hosted a youth conference to help educate youth on issues facing Indigenous communities in Canada. Staff lead a series of youth-driven activities that focused on wellness and building skills to help youth become leaders in their community. 

On Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, ONTAP partnered with the Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership, the Canadian Association of Mold Makers, Automate Canada, and the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce to host the first-ever, in-person "Breakfast with Skilled Trades Employers" event. The event was a tremendous success!
