An Overnight Camp Update
As just announced by the provincial government today, all overnight camps in the province will be unable to open this summer season. We will be offering all camper families full refunds of their fees and will be in touch with more details soon regarding the refund process and next steps.
This is hard news to share and we know that the idea of summer without camp is heartbreaking for our staff, alumni, campers, and their families – it is for us too. There is nothing we love more than sitting around the campfire together, laughing until our bellies hurt at mealtimes, and spending each day growing and having fun with all of you at camp.
Thank you for your support and patience through these unprecedented and challenging times. Everything that we believe in and have learned at camp, such as caring, empathy, strength, and friendship will help us get through this together.
This summer won’t be the same without camp, but we will be able to be together in different ways and we look forward to sharing more opportunities to stay connected over the coming months.
