Celebrating the Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant at Bob Hayward YMCA
A celebration was held on February 12 to mark the completion of much-needed renovations at the Bob Hayward YMCA funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Thanks to this generous funding, the YMCA was able to renovate the pool, refurbish the welcome desk, add a security gate, and reinforce the foundation where water was leaking into the building. Safety concerns are important for all participants and these updated accessibility measures at the welcome desk will undoubtedly improve participants’ overall experience and encourage people with mobility challenges to take part in physical activities.
