Youth Programs

Inspiring and supporting youth is an essential part of how the Y works to build strong communities. We nurture the next generation through programs designed to help them create a brighter future for themselves and others. With opportunities to develop leadership skills, gain experience, and grow positive connections, we allow youth to share their voice and discover their full potential.

Youth Gambling Prevention

Youth Gambling Awareness Program (YGAP)

The YMCA Youth Gambling Awareness Program is a free service offering educational prevention programs designed to raise awareness of youth gambling, healthy/active living and making informed decisions. Together with the Ministry of Health, the YMCA believes educational awareness programs are essential to enhancing personal development and creating healthier communities.

Employment Services

Employment Services

One way the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario helps to build strong communities is by creating opportunities for newcomers, youth and people with disabilities. Our Employment Services support participants in breaking barriers to employment, through workshops, paid work placements, and training.

SCHOOL GROUPS

We believe success is not dependent on individual ability, collaborating to solve problems together. Experiential education is a powerful tool in helping students transfer learning from the classroom into real life.

New to Canada

New to Canada

If you are new to Canada, the Y has programs to help you transition into your new community whether you are in London, Sarnia, Windsor or a surrounding area.
