Bronze Star (ages 12+)
Bronze Star provides excellent preparation for success in Bronze Medallion. Participants develop problem solving and decision making skills individually and in partners. Candidates learn Emergency First Aid B and develop life saving skills. Includes a 400M timed swim. Minimum of 6 candidates required to run course.

Spring Session: March 31 - June 2, 2017  (5:30 - 7:00pm)

Bronze Medallion with Emergency First Aid B (Ages 13+)
The Lifesaving Society’s Bronze Medallion Award teaches an understanding of the lifesaving principles embodied in the four components of water rescue education - judgement, knowledge, skill and fitness. Minimum of 6 candidates required to run course.

Fall Session: October 4, 2016- December 6, 2016 ( 6:00 - 9:00pm)  
Winter Session: January 11, 2017- March 12, 2017 (6:00 - 9:00pm)  
Spring Session: March 29, 2017- May 31, 2017 (6:00 - 9:00pm)

Non-Members:  $154.00(Canadian Lifesaving Manual $ 51.00)
Bronze Cross (Ages 14+)
Bronze Cross is designed for lifesavers who want the challenge of more advanced training including an introduction to safe supervision in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross is a prerequisite for all advanced training programs including National Lifeguard and Instructor certification. 100% attendance is required. Minimum of 6 candidates required to run course.

Members: $112.50  (Canadian Lifesaving Manual $ 51.00)
Non-Members: $154.00 (Canadian Lifesaving Manual $ 51.00)

National Lifeguard Service 
Descriptor : National Lifeguard Service is a nationally recognized lifeguard certification program. National Lifeguard Service is a legal certificate for lifeguarding throughout the country, and the only lifeguard certificate recognized by the province of Ontario.
Pre-Requisites: 16 years, Bronze Cross Certified, Standard 1st Aid & CPR-C (current within 2 years)100% attendance is required.

Non-Members:  $280.50

Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid + CPR-C (ages 16+)
Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR.
This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid, such as: medical / legal aspects, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns and medical emergencies. Includes CPR-C certification.

Members: $119.50 Standard First Aid Manual $17.00
Non-Members:  $141.00 Standard First Aid Manual $17.00

Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid + CPR C  Recertification

Masters Group ( Age 18yrs+) 
Swim for fitness, stroke improvement, training to compete or fun!

Any adult who can swim one length of the pool can join the Masters swim program!

Program is delivered by a certified swim coach for recreational and competitive swimmers looking to improve their fitness level as well as their swimming technique.
Workouts are designed to suit various levels of swimming abilities as well as individual training goals.
