Preschool & Youth Programs     



Tiny Tot Sports
(Ages 3-5 years)
Introduce your toddler to the basics of sport! Kicking and catching and throwing, oh my! By repeating the basic skills in a low-stress environment, your child will gain confidence in themselves while improving their basic motor skills. Monday 5:15-545pm 

Little Rascals
(Ages 18 months – 5 years)
An unstructured program where parents can spend time playing in the gym with a wide variety of equipment including balls, hoops, mats, tunnels, parachute and more. This program is designed for the toddler who cannot sit still. Open to all, no charge

Play Care
(Ages 3 months–7 years)

This is a child minding service for members and guests who need require care for their children while in the facility working out. Children will play with toys, make crafts and play games under the careful supervision of staff.

Child membership or family membership: No charge
Non members: $4.00 per child

Pre-School Dance
(Ages 3 - 5 years)
There’s a rhythm in all of us, so start your toddler on the right path to expressing it with pre-school dance. Using music, games, and dance techniques you will see your toddler gain confidence, coordination, and self awareness. Wednesday 5:15-5:45pm Cost: Members: no charge Non Members: $75




Indoor Soccer - 6-8 – Kick away the winter blues with indoor soccer. This structured program will focus on the fundamental skills of soccer and provide plenty of opportunity to put those skills into game situation. Teamwork is a crucial part of soccer and children will come away with a greater understanding of it. Clean running shoes are required.   Monday 5:30-6:20p $75.00 Non-Member

Baseball – 6-8 – This fundamental baseball program is designed for the young player in your life who may be picking up a ball for the first time or trying to further the basics. Must bring a glove and clean running shoes, while a baseball bat is optional. Monday 6:30-7p $65.00 Non-member

Baseball – 9-13 – We are looking for experienced players who are looking to further their baseball skillset. Between conditioning and fundamental skill review, players will progress their talent level and be better prepared for the upcoming season. Must bring a glove and clean running shoes. Baseball bat is optional. Monday 7:10-8p $75 Non-member

Jazz Dance – 6-12 – With a beautiful inspiration from ballet, jazz dance is an excellent form to let the dancer in your life showcase their originality. Through delicate footwork, leaps and turns, this class will encourage your child to express themselves through dance that makes them feel confident. Wednesday 6-6:45p $102 Non-member

Guitar Basics – 6-12 - Introduce your aspiring musician to the basics of the guitar, using chords, scales, notes, and tablature. Participants must bring their own guitar; acoustic is recommended but not mandatory. Tuesday 530p-6:15p $65 Non-member 

Basic Cooking 101 – 6-12 – Tired of your children reaching for a cookie every time they feel hungry? Let us help them discover more! This program will introduce your child to a variety of healthy snacks and lunches they can make by themselves without reaching for the salty snacks or sweet treats.  Tuesday 6-7p $75/non-members 9 week course to March Break

Hip Hop Dance– 6-12 – If your child loves to floss, but not with their teeth, then Hip Hop dance is for them! This class will introduce kids to basic hip hop steps and moves, teaching coordination and rhythm to music. Wednesday 6-6:45p. $75 Non-member

 Art- Learn To Paint – 18+ – Interested in a new skill? Let this class take your creative skills to the next level! In Learn to Paint, you will learn the basics of painting by looking at layout, textures, composition, and more while painting a variety of styles. Thursday 5:30-6:30 $75/non-members

Game On! (All ages) This program provides an opportunity for those with disabilities to participate in different organized sports and activities. The program includes gym time, swimming and other activities. Thursday 6:30-8:30p 

Youth Night/Stronger Kids
(Ages 8-13)
Youth Night is back, but this time with a twist! Your kids will come enjoy all the Y has to offer, including swimming, board games, and sports. Now they will have the opportunity to also experience our Wellness Centre, as Stronger Kids helps teach youth proper, safe methods to train their body as they grow. Youth Night is a great way for the youth in your life to make friends, learn new skills, and give you as a parent a few hours to yourself! Friday 6:00-8:00pm

Wellness Access for Youth (Ages 10 - 12 yrs)

When youth participate in physical activities with family it strengthens potential for healthier lifestyles long term.
Youth ages 10-12 may access the Wellness Centre with a parent and/or guardian 16 years of age or older after completing an orientation with a wellness staff member.

Youth orientation is similar to the adult orientation (ensure a safe and balanced program), except a parent and/or guardian MUST be present. Please see a wellness staff member to set up an orientation. After receiving the orientation, youth ages 10-13 must always be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian 16 years of age or older when accessing the Wellness Centre.

Youth that are 13 years old may access the Wellness Centre without a parent or guardian. Please note any youth between the ages of 12-15 years are encouraged to meet with a Wellness Coach to learn how to safely use the wellness equipment and and have a personalized fitness program developed.



Babysitters Course
This course offers basic first aid and care giving skills for youth 11-15 years of age. Participants learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. The course also offers youth the training to promote themselves as a babysitter to prospective parents. Registration required. January 31, 9a-3pm

Members: $55.00  includes manual
Non-members: $65.00  includes manual

Home Alone Course
Is your child ready to stay at home alone? Empower children with confidence and skills to care for themselves when home alone. Participants learn strategies to create a safe and positive environment, how to look after themselves for short periods of time, how to handle real life situations, injury prevention and basic first aid. Registration required. February 1, 9a-1pm

Members: $35.00
Non-members: $45.00
