Paint the Ice
Come join us and celebrate the changing of the seasons! With the ice surface on its way out for summer we're going to send it out in style by painting the entire surface! We use the same ice paint that creates the lines and goalie creases so while water soluable it is strongly pigmented compared to craft paint, so remember to bring "messy clothes" along with a helmet!

Taking Place: Late March or Early April 2019 (actual event date will be determined by the wrap up of the hockey season)

Parent & Tot Skate
This program is for preschoolers and their parent/guardian to enjoy time together on the ice. Hockey sticks and pucks are not permitted during this time, and children must wear a helmet while on the ice.

*Does not take place during school holidays or PD Day, and times may be cancelled as the result of school league hockey games.

To double check ice availability check with municipal staff at 519-441-2601

Healthy snack and water provided. Wear comfy clothes and indoor running shoes. *New this Year* Some Wednesdays have also been set aside for parents and kids to enjoy some quality physical activity time out on the ice rink.

Wellness Access for Youth (Ages 10 - 13 yrs)
When youth participate in physical activities with family it strengthens potential for healthier lifestyles long term. Youth ages 10-13 may access the Wellness Centre with a parent and/or guardian 16 years of age or older after completing an orientation with a wellness staff member.

Youth orientation is similar to the adult orientation (ensure a safe and balanced program), except a parent and/or guardian MUST be present. Please see a wellness staff member to set up an orientation. After receiving the orientation, youth ages 10-13 must always be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian 16 years of age or older when accessing the Wellness Centre.

Youth that are 14 years old may access the Wellness Centre without a parent or guardian.
