PROGRAMS & SERVICES

 

Adult Group Classes & Programs

All group fitness classes are included in a membership, unless otherwise noted.   Non members are welcome to attend with the purchase of a visitor pass.

SENIOR:

Boomers
A social program for seniors that includes lunch and a social activity.

Cost: $11.50 per visit or Boomers Pass: $100 for 10 visits

Living Active Group Training
A seniors small group workout that focuses on building strength, endurance, balance, coordination and flexibility.

Members $35.00 for 10 sessions
Non Members $68.00 for 10 sessions

Senior Spin
A modified version of traditional spin classes, geared towards older adults. Each participant can control their own workout with options and modifications provided for all levels of ability and intensity. Motivating music and instructional cycling techniques are used to guide participants through all types of terrain. Bring a water bottle and towel. Spaces are limited.

Senior Cycle Fit
This class combines a regular spin class with the added benefits of resistance training off the bike.  Bring a water bottle and towel.  

Senior Fit
This is a program designed for seniors that will incorporate balance, flexibility, cardiovascular exercise and muscle endurance for a full body workout. Participants will benefit from improved body coordination, decrease risk of injury and improvement in overall body function in everyday life.

 
ADULT:

Ritmos Latinos Dance Class 
Who's ready to shake their maracas! In the Ritmos Latinos Dance class, you will learn salsa, merengue, cumbia, and cha cha cha.  Once learned, these basic dance steps can be applied on the dance floor with anyone. Additionally, you will improve your coordination, muscle tone and memory while doing choreographed dances. Partner registration is encouraged but not mandatory. 

Tuesday 7:15 - 8:15 pm
Cost:  Members: no charge    Non members: $85

Barbell Fit
This class utilizes barbells and provides you with a full body workout.  Each class combines traditional and non traditional barbell exercises along with core exercises that will get your heart rate up and muscles burning. 

Bootcamp
Participants push their bodies to the limit by working out in a fast paced environment and utilizing multiple muscle groups. Each class features tough boot camp style exercises that will give participants a fun and challenging workout.

Circuit 30
A fast paced full throttle 30 minute workout.  Participants will engage in speed, agility, power, strength and endurance exericses with a focus to maximize the calorie burn.  

Spin
A cardiovascular fitness class held on indoor stationary bikes. Each participant can control their own workout, led by an instructor, with options and modification provided for all levels of ability and intensity. Motivating music and instructional cycling techniques are used to guide participants through all types of terrain. Bring a water bottle and towel. Spaces are limited.
Cycle Fit
This class combines a regular spin class with the added benefits of resistance training off the bike.  Bring a water bottle and towel.  
Gentle Yoga and Stretching
This class is ideal for beginners.  This therapeutic yoga class improves range of motion, releases stress and leaves the body feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.  The class includes traditional yoga poses including stretches, balance exercises and strengthening exercises.  All fitness levels are welcome. 
Hatha Yoga
This classic yoga class cultivate deeper awareness of the poses, attention to alignment, understand of breathing techniques and exploration of the mind and body.  This is the most widely practiced form of yoga in the world.  Hatha Yoga uses postures (asana) and conscious breathing (pranayama) in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength, flexibility, relaxation, mindfulness and joy in the yoga poses. 
HIIT Fit
High intensity interval training, alternates periods of short intense exercise with recovery periods, designed to increase both aerobic and anaerobic endurance.  These dynamic workouts have been proved to enhance athletic performance, increase cardiovascular capacity and condition, improve glucose metabolism and increase fat burning.  Modifications for all fitness levels are provided.  

Pickleball
A multi generational paddle sport created for all skills levels that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Members - no charge
Non members:  $58.50 for 1 x per week for 9 weeks

Piloxing
This high intensity workout uniquely blends the power, speed and agility of boxing, the targeted sculpting and flexibility of Pilates with fun dance moves. This workout tones muscle, burns fat and empower individuals both physically and mentally.

Zero Gravity & Core
This class incorporates functional movement with gravitational pull. The body suspension system will challenge balance and stability while working your core at the same time. Fight gravity all the way!

Kickboxing
Kickboxing contains cardio and muscle conditioning with a combination of cardio boxing and kickboxing moves. A truly great body workout.

Kettleball and Core
A combination of classic kettlebell moves and new kettlebell moves mixed with dumbbells; body weight and core exercises. Experience an overall
workout which will tax your endurance, demand your focus, and stress every muscle in your body.

Sculpt
This class is a combination of body weight and resistance exercises focused on shaping and sculpting a new and better you.

Beginner Spin
Take this opportunity to try spin! Our certified instructor will take you through a class for all levels, ensure your bike is set up correctly and help you stay
motivated through the class to give you a good cardio workout.

Aqua Fit
A water based class that provides a variety of movements, giving you a cardiovascular workout using water as added resistance with less joint impact.
Classes often incorporate strength components, core stability exercises and stretching. Suitable for all fitness levels with options and modifications
provided for all levels of ability and intensity. Participants do not need to know how to swim.

Therapy Aerobics
This program is held in the warm water therapy pool to help soothe your joints and muscles while allowing you to have increased flexibility. The
class helps retain and improve strength, flexibility and range of motion while providing a low intensity cardio workout.

Aqua Walk
A walking program in the water. The class provides a low impact cardio workout while having less stress on bones, joints and muscles.
