A cardio interval workout utilizing weights, squats, lunges, plyometrics and sport style drills. A full body workout.
A multi level workout joining high intensity and low impact movement ending with resistance and flexibility exercises. Suitable for all levels.

This fun mix of kicking and punching movements is aimed at shaping your shoulders, upper back, abs and legs and improving balance, endurance, strength and stability. Core is a 30 minute athletic and functional core strength workout. It strengthens everything from your shoulders to your hips to make you stronger, quicker and faster in all you do.

• Basic Theory
Basic Theory is the first stage of the YMCA Fitness Leadership Program. This course provides information that every Fitness Leader must know prior to moving into Applied Theory. Candidates will acquire basic knowledge in Anatomy & Physiology, Principles of Training, Movement Mechanics, and Nutrition.This course can be attended by anyone 16 years of age or older.
• Fundamentals of Group Fitness
Fundamentals of Group Fitness helps Fitness Leaders acquire the pertinent information related to teaching fitness classes in a group setting regardless of the modality chosen. Fitness Leaders will also gain an understanding of the YMCA member and learn how to foster relationship building in their fitness classes.
