The YMCA provides campers with new experiences specific to their interests set in a fun, safe and educational environment, andoffers something for everyone! At the YMCA, character development is an integral part of our programming. We strive to develop all campers physically, socially, and emotionally. With excellent camp leaders as role models, campers will naturally develop relationships and important leadership skills.
The YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Inclusiveness are carefully and purposefully integrated into all Y camp programs. YMCA Day Camp...making memories to last a lifetime!
Although each day is fun and action-packed, every activity is thoughtfully crafted to not only let kids have fun, but have them learn something meaningful in the process.
Camp leaders will focus on ensuring campers reach their full potential by encouraging them to step outside their comfort zone, to try new things and even conquer some of their fears. These experiences give campers a sense of accomplishment and greater self-confidence.
YMCA camp is a place where everyone belongs. As a camper you are a part of a welcoming group that is out to have fun, make friends and create memories. Every activity is set in a group setting so that everyone is always part of the fun.
Campers will learn hands-on leadership skills through their mentorship with their camp leaders and they’ll put these skills to the test by taking on team-based activities that teach them the power of positive encouragement, teamwork and leading by example.
A Problem Solver
Each day of camp includes games and activities that force campers to think outside the box, harness their analytical problem-solving skills and work together to complete the challenges at hand.
Whether a camper attends camp for a day, for a week or for months, they will meet a ton of new people in a fun and inviting environment that naturally breeds meaningful friendships. They’ll overcome challenges together, share common experiences and memories they’ll hold on to for a lifetime.
